Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. A Texas technical institute student
may receive grants and scholarships, awarded on an individual basis of financial
need. Grants and scholarships need not be repaid. Loans must be repaid according
to the loan agreement. In order to determine eligibility for loans, grants or scholarships,
the Texas technical institute students must complete an application. A Financial
Aid Officer will be happy to answer any questions at your personal interview.
Job Placement
Southern Careers Institute offers job placement assistance to graduates, giving
them the tools they need to obtain gainful employment. Through job readiness training
and our hands-on curriculum, students are taught the skills they need to find a
job and to succeed. At SCI, our Employment Coordinators work closely with you to
help you find a job in your field, whether you participated in cosmetology classes,
administrative assistant courses, medical insurance coding specialist courses, medical
assistant programs, pharmacy technician programs, business accounting specialist
programs, or any other of our available educational programs.

Student Services Coordinator
We want to make sure that you have available resources in order for you to achieve
your goals and graduate! Our Student Services Coordinator has information for students
who need help with daycare, housing and transportation.
Tutoring is also available for you during non-class
hours. If requested, you can receive individual attention and personalized instruction.
