History

Southern Careers Institute (SCI) was founded in 1960. Since opening its doors, SCI has expanded its facilities to include seven campuses located in Austin, Brownsville, Harlingen, Pharr, San Antonio, and two campuses in Corpus Christi, Main Campus and Cosmetology Campus.

SCI has offered medical and business programs since 1992. In 1994, the pharmacy program was introduced. Today, SCI offers a variety of programs including medical, business, pharmacy, and cosmetology.
